A Quick Observation: To the Lighthouse

I don’t think I’ve ever come across an author who, without being distracted by narrative, can capture the inner workings and turmoils of the human mind. Our train of thought is never logical or unrepetitive or, in that case, always as succinct as it is written in most novels.

It has taken me 111 pages into my first Woolf to fully grasp how rare and special a talent this is.
